Question:139 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if agricultural contractors will qualify for tanker grant in respect of such machinery used for the pollution control programme. [2284/95]
Written Answers. - Control of Farm Pollution Scheme.
The control of farm pollution scheme which forms part of the operational programme for agriculture, rural development and forestry is limited to farmers who satisfy the conditions of the scheme and who earn below the reference income from off farm activities. It does not apply to agricultural contractors whose sole business is agricultural contracting.
