Question:

72 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice the crime statistics for the five Garda divisions in the Dublin metropolitan area over the last five years; the number of cases where a successful conviction was achieved; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2858/95]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the number of indictable offences recorded in each of the past five years for which figures are available in each of the five Garda divisions in the Dublin metropolitan area are as set out in the following table:
