11 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade if the appointment of a Minister of State for Western Development will involve an allocation of power and responsibilities at present vested in him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2921/95]

The appointment referred to by the Deputy will not involve any allocation of power and responsibilities which are at present vested in me as Minister for Tourism and Trade.
