Limerick East): A limited ex-gratia scheme is being operated by the Blood Transfusion Service Board to ensure that all Anti-D recipients are in a position to avail of the screening, counselling and treatment services put in place following the emergence of evidence in February 1994 of a possible link between the product Human Immunoglobulin — Anti-D and Hepatitis C. The operation of the scheme is kept under ongoing review.
