76 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education if Higher Education fees will be abolished for persons studying in night degree courses in Universities following the recent announcement regarding higher education fees. [3548/95]
My recent decision on the abolition of fees relates to fees paid by full-time undergraduate students attending publicly funded third level institutions in the Republic of Ireland.
I have no plans at present to extend the abolition of fees for other categories of students.
