82 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in issuing a multiple entry visa to a person (details supplied) in England; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that this person wishes to invest in a leisure complex in Clonmel, County Tipperary and the longer the delay in finalising his application, the greater risk there is of losing this investment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I would like to inform the Deputy that a multi-entry visa for the individual concerned was approved on 10 February 1995. All visa applications are subject to checks and inquiries appropriate to the type of visa being sought. I do not accept, however, that there was any delay in processing this case.
