156 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade if he will consider a grant scheme for the provision of accommodation where suitable tourist accommodation is scarce and where accommodation is needed to encourage the development of the tourist industry. [3728/95]
Under the Operational Programme for Tourism, 1994-1999, provision is made for grants, on a selective basis, for specialist visitor accommodation needs and for selective hotel accommodation improvement. The details are set out in the operational programme, a copy of which is available in the Dáil Library.
