70 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade if guidelines under section 25 (a) (ii) and (b) (ii) of the Finance Act, 1993, were agreed between his Department and Bord Fáilte; and the date of any such agreement.[4178/95]
Guidelines, on the basis of which tourism operations may be grant-aided under a scheme of assistance administered by Bord Fáilte Éireann, when the Finance Act, 1993, was enacted, were set out in the Operational Programme for Tourism, 1989-1993, and, subsequently, in the Operational Programme for Tourism, 1994-1999. Agreement on the guidelines was reached in the course of the preparation and finalisation of the programmes.
