Limerick East): The 1994 report of the review group on primary childhood immunisation recognised that the general practitioner was ideally placed to deliver the primary childhood immunisation programme.
Discussions with the IMO on the implementation of the report's recommendations are ongoing and I am confident that they can be satisfactorily concluded in the near future.
