Written Answers. - Navan (Meath) Hospital.

Noel Dempsey

Question:

71 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Health when he proposes to approve capital funding for the new psychiatric unit at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, County Meath. [5009/95]

Limerick East): The tenders which have been received by the North Eastern Health Board in relation to the provision of a new psychiatric unit at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, are currently being considered by the board and I understand that a report on these tenders will be submitted to my Department in the near future. When this report has been received, the question of the acceptance of tenders and commencement of construction will be considered in the context of the formulation of the 1995 health capital programme.
