99 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the voluntary bodies grant aided by his Department; the amount of grant aid allocated in each year since 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5211/95]
Grants to voluntary bodies may be made from Subheads C (Cultural Institutions and Projects), D (National Heritage Council), F (Scéimeanna Feabhsúcháin sa Ghaeltacht), G (Scéimeanna Cultúrtha agus Sóisialta) and K (Ciste na Gaeilge) of my Department's Vote.
The Deputy will appreciate that the abstraction of detailed information in regard to each voluntary body grant-aided under these subheads during the years 1993 and 1994 would require considerable diversion of the already limited resources available to my Department. I should also point out that a significant amount of the information requested by the Deputy in regard to 1993 is already available in the Appropriation Accounts for that year and the 1994 Accounts will be available in due course.
If the Deputy wishes to obtain information relating to grants for any specific voluntary body, I will, of course, be glad to assist in any way I can.
