Vol. 450 No. 6

Written Answers. - Army Pension Query.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

188 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Defence the concessions which are available from his Department to a widow (details supplied) in County Cork whose recently deceased husband was a member of the Army. [5370/95]

As the service of the deceased person referred to did not qualify him for a pension under the Defence Forces (Pensions) Schemes the widow of the deceased is not eligible for a pension from my Department. No other entitlements from my Department are applicable in her case.
