Written Answers. - Environmental Impact Studies.
Responsibility for preparing an environmental impact statement for proposed development rests on the person or body proposing to undertake the project. However, the cost of preparing such a statement may be reckoned as part of the project cost in the case of certain infrastructural development by local authorities which receives financial assistance from my Department.
