53 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will introduce a scheme to aid farmers who are experiencing financial hardship due to the high cost of winter feeds. [6248/95]

I have already announced a scheme of compensation payments to farmers throughout the country who lost fodder as well as livestock in the recent floods and who have consequently experienced difficulties in feeding their animals.
