Question:

95 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Education the arrangements, if any, she will put in place to ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Mayo who commences secondary education in September 1995, will receive suitable transport to and from his home in view of the fact that the school bus which currently stops at his home does not have any provision for a wheelchair passenger. The case in question is currently under examination by my Department. A report on the matter has been requested from the local transport liaison officer.

My Department will communicate with the Deputy as soon as this report has been received and considered.
