101 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Justice when the report on the armed raid on the Brink's-Allied depot at Clonshaugh Industrial Estate will be ready; if she will publish it when it is available; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6356/95]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that the investigation into the robbery at the Brink's-Allied depot is ongoing and that it is not possible to state, at this stage, how long the investigation will take.
As to publication, it has never been the practice to publish Garda reports on individual crimes. That is not to say that the facts surrounding the incident beyond those already known will not emerge in the public domain. If there is to be a prosecution arising out of the incidents, the facts disclosed by the Garda investigation will be presented as evidence to the court hearing the case.
