I anticipate that the Freedom of Information Bill will be published this autumn. I look forward to its subsequent presentation to the Houses of the Oireachtas later in the year. This follows the commitment in the Government's A Programme for Renewal to enact freedom of information legislation modelled on the best practice in other countries.
