Question:

85 Dr. Woods asked the Minister for Finance the number of women employed in the Civil Service at the level of assistant principal, principal, assistant secretary, secretary and programme manager; and the percentage of women in each of these grades. [6932/95]

The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the following tabular statement. Figures refer to the position on 1 January 1995, the latest date for which figures are available, except for programme managers where the figures refer to the position on 31 March 1995.
