116 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Defence the action, if any, he intends to take to improve aviation safety standards at Casement Aerodrome, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7037/95]

All aspects of aviation safety in the context of Air Corps operations are kept under constant review and all necessary steps are taken to ensure that the highest possible standards of safety are maintained.

117 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Defence if he will consider using Casement Aerodrome, County Dublin, for commercial aviation purposes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7040/95]

Casement Aerodrome has been used on a number of occasions by non military aircraft. Requests of this nature are dealt with on an individual basis.
