Question:176 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the provision of a permanent school at Gaelscoil Osraí, Kilkenny, which has been included in the Government's expenditure for 1995. [7589/95]

At this stage it is too early for me to give a definitive date for work commencing on site. Acquisition of the school site is not yet completed. I can confirm that this project has a high priority in my Department and will be progressed as quickly as possible through the various planning and construction stages.
