48 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for the Environment when it is intended to appoint an implementation group to oversee progress on the Dublin Transportation Initiative; the terms of reference which will apply to the group; the proposed membership of such group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 48 and 85 together.

I will shortly be submitting proposals to the Government on the precise form of the arrangements to be made to oversee the implementation of the DTI recommendations, including the land use, traffic management and enforcement aspects, and I will make an announcement on the matter as soon as possible.
