I attended the ministerial segment of the first conference of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change which took place in Berlin from 5 to 7 April 1995. Officials from my Department and the Department of Transport, Energy and Communications attended for the full period of the conference from 28 March to 7 April 1995.
