Smith asked the Minister for Education if she will meet a deputation from the County Cavan Vocational Education Committee and Kingscourt Community Development Council to discuss the provision of a second level school in Kingscourt, County Cavan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have already agreed to meet a deputation from County Cavan Vocational Education Committee in Shercock on Friday, 5 May to discuss the matter referred to by the Deputy. I would be pleased to include a deputation from Kingscourt Community Development Council at that meeting also. Details concerning the time and location for the proposed meeting can be obtained from my office.
