Question:21 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for Education if she will have funding made available for the development of County Monaghan vocational education committee's outdoor education centre at Tanagh, County Monaghan. [5111/95]
Written Answers. - Tanagh (Monaghan) Education Centre.
A total of nine approved outdoor education centres, operated by vocational education committees, receive annual funding from my Department. The centre at Tanagh is not one of these. Arrangements are now being made to undertake a review of the operation and effectiveness of the approved existing vocational education committee operated outdoor education centres. Pending the outcome of this review I do not propose to approve or make funds available for the development of any new or additional outdoor education centres.
