Vol. 452 No. 3

Written Answers. - Driving Tests.

Peter Barry

Question:

108 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for the Environment the average waiting time in Cork for driving tests; the comparative national average waiting time; and the proposals, if any, he has to increase the driving test facilities in Cork city. [8049/95]

The average waiting time for a driving test in Cork is currently seven weeks compared with an average waiting period nationally of 14 weeks. Arrangements can be made to provide tests urgently for applicants who require them because of employment or other considerations.
