114 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Education if she will authorise the erection of protective fencing at the river bank adjacent to Gorey Community School, County Wexford, in order to avert a tragedy and protect the lives of children attending the school. [7859/95]

The erection of protective fencing at the river bank adjacent to Gorey Community School, County Wexford is currently under consideration in my Department. It is intended to discuss the matter with the board of management in the very near future.
