Ryan asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to a report commissioned by the Minister for the Environment and carried out by Dublin Corporation's Central Laboratory into the incidence of lead in drinking water; and if her attention has been further drawn to a school in which the incidence of lead in drinking water was significantly above the 50 microgramme maximum allowed by law; her views on the appropriate level of disclosure regarding this matter; the steps, if any, she intends to take to inform parents and teachers; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
