40 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment his views on the situation whereby Deputy Eoin Ryan was informed that it would take a week to answer a query regarding statistics from ENFO due to a lack of staffing resources; the number and grade of staff employed at ENFO; if the organisation recently lost staff in its library section; the plans, if any, he has to increase staff levels at ENFO; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There is no record in ENFO of a query having been received directly from the Deputy. ENFO policy, except in the most complex cases, is to respond to queries on the same day or the following day.
