Written Answers. - Appointment of Civil Servant.
Competitions for selection for permanent positions in the Civil Service are conducted by the Civil Service Commissioners who are independent in the exercise of their responsibilities. Accordingly I have no function in the matter and am unable to confirm whether the person concerned may be appointed to a permanent position.
