84 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Marine the present position regarding the application by a co-operative society (details supplied) for the extension of its foreshore licence in the Carlingford Lough area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8532/95]
The licence application in question was received on 2 May last. A preliminary technical assessment has been carried out which indicates that the application overlaps in certain key respects with existing or proposed foreshore utilisation. The application will be reviewed in light of this in full consultation with the co-operative.
