Byrne asked the Minister for Education the amount and percentage of budget in each vocational education committee area paid towards expenses of members of vocational education committees, of school boards, of selection panels, other boards and sub-committees in the most recent year for which figures are available. [9252/95]
The information is not available in my Department in the detail requested by the Deputy. However a schedule of travel and subsistence expenses paid to members of each vocational education committee while on committee business and the cost as a percentage of the main scheme non-pay expenditure follows. The details refer to 1993.
