Question:

147 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the number of Garda patrol cars stationed in Finglas Station; the number of gardaí attached to the station; the area covered by the station; and the approximate population served by the station. [9312/95]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that six mobile units are attached to Finglas Garda station comprising of three patrol cars, one patrol van, one vanette and one motorcycle. The current manpower at the station is 71. The station serves an area of just over 38 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 40,000.
