78 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health, in view of the large elderly population in the Finglas area and the lack of day-care facilities, if he will approve the Eastern Health Board proposals for such facilities which have been submitted to his Department. [9474/95]

Limerick East): The Eastern Health Board recently submitted proposals to my Department concerning the provision of a site for a day care centre for the elderly in the Finglas area. This submission is currently being considered in the light of competing priorities.
