Vol. 453 No. 6

Written Answers. - Amenities in Housing Estates.

Austin Deasy

Question:

79 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment the plans, if any, he has to provide moneys for amenities in a housing estate (details supplied) in County Waterford. [9909/95]

The provision of amenities such as playgrounds, open spaces, communal facilities, in their housing estates is the responsibility of local authorities. There are no funds available to my Department from which assistance could be given for that purpose.
