Vol. 453 No. 8

Written Answers. - Tax and Social Welfare Regulations.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

86 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Finance if he will ask the chairman of the Revenue Commissioners to investigate whether contract workers from another jurisdiction are fulfilling the tax and social welfare regulations of that jurisdiction and of Ireland when they are bussed each evening to a factory (details supplied) in Dublin 17. [10107/95]

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the matter raised by the Deputy will be investigated. However, it should be understood that for reasons of confidentiality the Deputy cannot be provided with details of the outcome of the investigation.
