Vol. 453 No. 8

Written Answers. - Primary School Remedial Works.

Paul Bradford

Question:

117 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that remedial works are required at a primary school (details supplied) in County Cork; if sanction has been given to have the necessary work undertaken; the nature and cost of the works; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10070/95]

An application has been received from the school in question for grant-aid for the replacement of windows and porches.

A report has been received on the matter from my Department's local advisers and a decision on grant-aid will be conveyed shortly to the school authorities.

It would be inappropriate to disclose details of estimated cost in advance of any tender process.
