Question:50 Mr. Power asked the Minister for the Environment when funding of approximately £85,000 will be made available to Kildare County Council to carry out repairs to the Robertstown Road in view of recent sewerage works. [10475/95]
Written Answers. - County Kildare Road Funding.
The funding arrangements for the Robertstown sewerage scheme included provision, in accordance with normal practice, for the temporary and permanent reinstatement of the trench width. A request for further funding in respect of full road width restoration has been submitted to my Department by Kildare County Council. This request is under examination in the context of my Department's long-standing policy of meeting the costs of reinstating road surfaces to their original standard.
