Question:187 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for the Marine the amount of money given by him to fishing festivals for each of the years 1993 to 1995; and the festivals that have benefited. [10506/95]
Written Answers. - Fishing Festivals.
The Department does not have funds directly at its disposal for this purpose. However, the Central and Regional Fisheries Boards who have responsibility for, among other matters, the promotion of angling, may from time to time assist with the funding of angling competitions and events.
