43 Mr. Power asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the hardship being experienced by the residents of Kilcullen, County Kildare; and when funding will be made available to enable the Kilcullen sewerage scheme to proceed. [11082/95]

Proposals to improve Kilcullen sewerage have been included in the River Liffey catchment plan, an application for which has been submitted to the European Commission for Cohesion Fund Assistance. A decision on the application is expected shortly.
