Written Answers. - Meat Inspection Fees Arrears.
My Department has just concluded an agreement with the pigmeat industry for the payment of the outstanding arrears of approximately £1.2 million in respect of meat inspection fees over a three year period beginning in 1995. The position in relation to the pre-April 1985 arrears was dealt with in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 250 on 25 April 1995.
