Vol. 454 No. 7

Written Answers. - Child Sex Abuse Allegation.

Liz O'Donnell

Question:

54 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to an investigation being carried out by the Eastern Health Board into the accommodation arrangements in a school (details supplied) in Dublin 7; the steps, if any, that have been taken to address the concerns expressed by teachers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11511/95]

I understand that both the Eastern Health Board and the Garda are investigating allegations of child sexual abuse at the school in question. I am not aware of any concerns having been expressed by teachers in this regard. However, if the Deputy wishes to forward details of such I will ensure that the matter receives immediate attention.
