The overall cost of overtime payments in my Department for 1994 was £266,320.63. The projected cost for 1995, as published in the Book of Estimates, is £254,000.
The question of the day to day running of State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department is a matter for their own management. Details of the overall cost of overtime for these bodies are not available to me.
