74 Mr. B. Ahern asked the Minister for Health the persons appointed by him or by Ministers of State at his Department as programme managers, advisers, secretaries, assistants, counsellors or back-up staff either in his Department or in constituency offices; the annualised remuneration being paid to these staff; the names of individuals, groups or companies which have undertaken or have been approved to undertake full-time, part-time or casual consultancies, reviews, examinations or analysis or any public relations services on his behalf or on behalf of Ministers of State at his Department; the actual or estimated cost in this regard; the persons, companies, consultants, attachés or otherwise he or Ministers of State at his Department have appointed to semi-State bodies under the aegis of his Department; and any reviews, consultancies or reports he or Ministers of State at his Department have commissioned or are due to commission; and the full cost in respect of all these matters. Limerick East): I have appointed one programme manager and three special advisers, details of which I have already given in reply to a Parliamentary Question from Deputy Maire Geoghegan-Quinn on 14 June 1995. I have also appointed the following:

Mr. Richard Butler as my Personal Assistant at a cost of £22,703 per annum.
Mr. Michael Larkin as my Personal Secretary at a cost of £14,630 per annum.
Mr. Liam Curham as Personal Assistant to Brian O'Shea, TD, Minister of State at my Department at a cost of £10,000 per annum.
Ms Marie Meegan as Personal Assistant to Austin Currie, TD, Minister of State at my Department at a cost of £18,772 per annum.
Ms Jane Leslie as Personal Secretary to Brian O'Shea, TD, Minister of State at my Department at a cost of £13,560 per annum.
Ms Jane Murphy and Brenda Coyne (job-sharing) as Personal Secretary to Austin Currie TD, Minister of State at my Department at an annual cost of £11,016 per annum and £5,630 per annum, respectively.
Details of consultants employed by my Department were also given in response to Deputy Geoghegan-Quinn's question on 14 June 1995. In addition the following consultants have completed studies commissioned recently.
