Written Answers. - Hepatitis C Combative Drugs.
Limerick East): I am not aware of any new drugs currently being tested for the purposes of dealing with hepatitis C. However, the Deputy will appreciate that pharmaceutical companies carry out continuous research into the development of new drugs and that such research will not necessarily come to the attention of the Department of Health until the products are ready for clinical trials or for licensing.
