Written Answers. - Amalgamation of Schools.
The question of an amalgamation of Dalgin national school with either Belmont or Milltown national schools has been under examination in my Department during the summer months. As full agreement between the local interests was not reached, it was decided to defer the matter until early in the new school year.
A local meeting will be held shortly between officials from my Department and the parents, teacher and Board of Management of the Dalgin school, to pursue the matter further.
