Question:411 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for the Marine if he will have arrangements made for payment of grant aid for the provision of a new slipway (details supplied) at Adrigole, County Cork. [12649/95]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
A request to grant aid the provision of a slipway at Adrigole, County Cork is being considered by the Department of the Marine along with a large number of other proposals submitted by Cork County Council and other coastal local authorities.
Because of the limited funding available it is unlikely that any grant aid can be provided to Adrigole in the short term. However, I will be making every effort to secure additional Exchequer funding for such works. The situation at Adrigole will be kept under review in that context.
