Vol. 456 No. 1

Written Answers. - Extension of Facilities.

Joe Walsh

Question:

153 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has for the extension of secondary school facilities in Dunmanway, County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13605/95]

An extension of 742m² is currently being planned for Maria Immaculata secondary school, Dunmanway, County Cork.

An outline sketch scheme submitted by the school authorities is currently being considered and my Department's observations will be conveyed to the school authorities shortly. When all the issues relating to the outline sketch scheme have been fully examined a planning briefing meeting will be arranged between my Department and the school authorities design team to initiate the architectural planning for the project.
