Question:124 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education the amount of money allocated to the early start programme for the 1995 financial year. [14587/95]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 122 and 124 together. The amount of money spent on the early start pre-school programme in the 1994 financial year was £238,320. The allocation to the programme for 1995 is £1,518,590. The increased level of funding reflects the establishment of an additional 25 early-start projects with effect from September 1995.
