Question:

155 Mr. Cullen asked the Minister for the Marine the total funding drawn down in 1995 under the Community Support Framework and the breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme; the total amount of matching Exchequer funds provided by his Department and the breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme; the total amount provided by the private sector and the breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme; and the outturn he expects for 1995 under the above-listed criteria. [14633/95]

The total funding drawn down in 1995 under the Operational Programme for Fisheries, in respect of which my Department has lead responsibility, is £4.52 million; the matching funding requirements for this amount are £1.303 million from public sources, including my Department, and £2.964 million from the private sector. The total amount expected to be drawn down in the current year is £9.821 million, requiring matching funding of £3.204 million and £5.88 million from public and private sources respectively.

I understand that overall details in relation to other operational programmes with which my Department is involved, viz. the Operational Programmes for Environmental Services, Tourism and Transport, will be supplied to the Deputy by Ministers whose Departments have the lead responsibility for them.
