Vol. 457 No. 3

Written Answers. - Taxation Revenue.

Ivor Callely

Question:

70 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Finance the likely impact on taxation revenue in each of the years from 1996 to 2000 in the event of the referendum to permit divorce being successful; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15256/95]

While it is not possible to be specific in this regard, it is, nevertheless, considered that the availability of divorce would have a minimal impact on tax revenue in the years in question.
